Hal Crossley is Professor Emeritus at the University of Maryland Dental School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island in 1964, the Master of Science (1970) and Doctorate degrees (1972) in Pharmacology. The University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore awarded Dr. Crossley the D.D.S. degree in 1980. He serves on the Maryland State Dental Association’s Well-Being Committee, is an active member of Phi Kappa Phi, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society, the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, and an honorary member of the Thomas B. Hinman Dental Society. He was the recipient of the 2008 Gordon Christensen Lecturer Recognition award presented by the Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Mark Lingen is a Professor of Pathology, Medicine and Radiation & Cellular Oncology at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. Dr. Lingen comes from a “dental family” that includes a total of 5 graduates of Northwestern University Dental School dating back to 1894. In addition to dental school, he completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology as well as a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Pathology at Northwestern. Dr. Lingen is the Editor-in-Chief for the journal Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology Oral Radiology and Endodontics (Triple O).
