This course will provide evidence-based recommendations for the management of dental trauma in children. The AAPD guidelines to pediatric oral trauma will be discussed. Preventative measures, diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up care will be addressed.

Mary Beth Dunn

Dr. Mary Beth Dunn graduated in 1990 from the University of Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Dunn went on to receive her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo in 1992. She then completed a one-year fellowship with the Craniofacial Center of Western New Year in 1993.

Dr. Dunn maintains a private pediatric dental practice in Williamsville, New York, and is a part-time faculty member at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine's pediatric dentistry department. She also performs dental operating room procedures at Women & Children's Hospital in Buffalo, NY. She is happy to share her knowledge and experience because she believes: “Every Child Deserves A Beautiful Healthy Smile.”
